# How to Get Rid of Static on a Suede Couch

Things You'll Need
- Spray bottle
- Liquid fabric softener
- Antistatic spray
- Humidifier

Fill a spray bottle with 9 parts water to 1 part fabric softener. Spray the diluted fabric softener lightly on your couch. Test the static content of the couch. Spray again if the static is still a problem.

Use an antistatic cloth or spray on the couch if static remains. You can find these products at most furniture stores.

Use a humidifier in the room with the suede couch. Static builds up quickly when the air is dry.
