# How to Lower Coaster Sofa Beds
A sofa bed can serve as extra sleeping space for an overnight guest or a spouse in the doghouse. Remove the three cushions from the back of sofa and one from each side.

Turn the ottomans so their long sides are parallel to the sofa. Place the ottomans flush against the sofa to create the bed surface.

Stand behind or beside the sofa and push the top part of the back frame forward to disengage the fasteners. Flip the part down.

Lift half of the remaining back frame up and lower it to rest on the opposite side. Your sofa bed is ready to use.
Versatile Chaise Sofa Bed

Remove the three throw cushions from the sofa.

Turn the rectangular ottoman so its long side is parallel to the sofa and sits flush against the sofa. Place the square ottoman into the remaining space to create the bed surface.

Fold down the ratchet back. Your sofa bed is ready to use.
