Instructions

    • 1

Throw the outer liner of the bean bag in the washer. Many bean bags actually have an outer liner around the bag that is actually holding the cushion or the beans. If this is the case, unzip the outer liner and wash and dry it. Replace the clean cover on the bean bag.

Spot treat serious stains with the carpet and upholstery cleaner. Spray the cleaner on a cleaning rag and dab at the stains. Do not spray directly on the bean bag. Once you have removed the stain, you can "rinse" the cleaner off by dabbing the newly cleaned area with a damp rag.

Scrub minor soils with a toothbrush and warm, soapy water. You can mix the soap mixture in a glass. Fill it two-thirds of the way full of warm water and add two drops of soap. Dip the brush in the mixture and scrub gently at the stains. Once you are done, let the entire thing dry completely before you use it again.

Wipe down plastic and vinyl with a soap and water solution. Use a cleaning rag and the warm water and soap solution to wipe down the bean bag.

    • 5

Wipe down the bean bag with the fabric softener sheet. This will make it smell fresh and clean.
