Unpack all of your crib's pieces in the desired room for your baby's new crib. Compare all the hardware in your package to the manufacturers list of materials. There should be six major pieces; a stationary rail, drop side rail, headboard, footboard, crib spring and a mattress. If your crib did not come with a list of materials or assembly instructions, visit the manufacturers website in order to obtain the information you need.
Lay the headboard on the ground with the inside of the crib facing up, screw the latch brackets tightly into the headboard. Do the same for the footboard making sure the latch brackets are facing inward toward the crib.
Slide a dowel through the top hole of both the headboard and the footboard. Insert the dowel through the latch brackets and secure the stationary rail in place with the screws provided.
Attach the crib spring into the desired position for all four sides of the mattress support. Attach drop side rail, the lever must be in the open position when attaching the drop side. A crib rail should always be positioned up when the baby is sleeping and has the ability to drop down for easier changing.
Stand crib up and add the mattress. Make sure all nuts, screws and anchoring mechanisms have been fastened securely. A frequent check should be made throughout the use of your crib.
