Stair Gate Instructions

A stair gate is a physical barrier to keep children from reaching the stairs. They can be installed using minimal equipment. Most stair gates rely on pressure to keep them attached securely to the walls at the threshold of a stairwell. While stair gates are most often used to stop children from falling down stairs, they also may be installed at the bottom of a flight of stairs to stop children from climbing up.
