Princess Bed Designs for Kids

Small kids often resist bedtime. Making the bed a place she wants to be may stop that. Bed is the place for respite and sweet dreams. A princess bed will make your little girl feel special. There are different princess bed designs for kids. Choose from a subtle design or something more over the top. Create the bedroom of her dreams with a princess bed.
  1. Princess Loft Bed

    • A whimsical bed design is a princess loft bed. This is a large bed design but also saves space, as there is room underneath the bed. Stairs on the loft bed allow her to climb up onto the mattress. Cover the top and bed surroundings in pink cloth in the shape of a castle. A fun added touch is to have a slide coming down from the bed, on the side where the ladder is.

    Canopy

    • A white, four-poster bed with a sheer canopy is a lovely princess bed design. Another alternative is a canopy made of a standard fabric, rather than sheer. To accent the white bed, choose colors of light and dark pink for the princess bed. The canopy bed is fairly simple, with a rounded headboard and foot-board.

    Bunk Beds

    • A princess bunk bed design is perfect if you have more than one child. It's also nice for a social young girl who has friends sleep over often. This bed is actually in the shape of a castle, with the bunk beds tucked underneath. On the top of the bed frame, above the top bunk, is a fake window with pink accents. A useful aspect of this bed is that one side of the bed is a bookcase.

    Carriage

    • Another princess bed design is a bed in the style of a princess carriage. Made up of tubular steel with scroll work, it can also have a canopy placed on top. Stick with white or a very light pink color. Carriage wheels make up the actual legs of the bed. Dress up the bed with bold pink bedding.
