How to Replace Ragazzi Crib Parts

A damaged crib can mean danger for your baby. Since many cribs are recalled each year, it is important to check your Ragazzi crib regularly for damage or missing pieces. Familiarize yourself with your crib's structure and parts so that if a part is damaged or missing you will be able to replace it as soon as possible. Because a baby spends so much time in it's crib knowing it is safe will give you peace of mind and your baby a good night's sleep.

      Identify the missing or damaged Ragazzi crib part. Write down any serial or part number located either directly on the damaged piece or in the instruction manual. Having the serial or part number will make ordering a replacement part easier for both you and customer service.

      Visit the Ragazzi website. Click "Dealers" on the navigation menu at the top of the screen. You will be redirected to a list of Ragazzi retailers.

      Click the "State" dropdown menu on the left side of the window and select the state you live in or the state closest to you to. Scroll through the list of retailers beneath "Dealer Listings" and call or email retailer closest to your location. Order the appropriate replacement part for your crib.

      Click "Contact" in the navigation menu along the top of the screen to call or email Ragazzi directly about the damaged or missing crib part.

      Take the damaged crib part or a photo of the missing piece to your local hardware store. You may be able to replace a small part, such as a screw or spring, with a similar piece. Be sure to have someone help you select the replacement part if you are unfamiliar with the hardware.
