Instructions

Locate the pre-drilled holes on the back panel of the crib. Line up the holes from the left wall of the crib with the holes on the back wall of the crib. Use a drill gun to drive a screw through each of the holes, securing the back wall with the left wall. Repeat this process to secure the right wall to the back wall.

    • 2

Install the mattress spring support by locating the brackets on each corner of the spring support. Line the holes in the brackets up with the holes in each of the corners of the three walls that have already been assembled. Insert a screw by hand through each bracket, securing it to the crib frame. Tighten each screw using the hex wrench provided with the crib.

    • 3

Attach the stabilizing bars. The keyhole slots in the bars will fit around the screws on the metal bracket attached to the corner posts. Each bar will be labeled "L" for left and "R" for right and should be attached according to those directions. Attach the screws through the bar keyholes and into the crib post by hand, and use the hex wrench to tighten them.

Align the foot board drop side panel with the left and right crib walls. Ensure that the holes in the brackets of the foot board panel line up with the side panels and insert screws by hand. Tighten the screws with the hex wrench.

Test the completed crib for structural soundness by placing objects of varying weights into the crib to ensure that the weight will be supported. Test the front drop side panel by placing your foot on the drop lever at the bottom of the foot board and applying pressure. This should release the front panel in a smooth downward motion. If there is any question or concern about the safety of the completed crib, you should contact Simmons customer service.
