How to Fold a Safety First Crib

The Safety 1st Portable Crib is a play-yard-style rectangular bed with breathable mesh sides. It is on wheels and easily folds flat so it can be moved from room to room or taken on trips. Learning how to fold the crib flat will help you obtain the full benefit from your Safety 1st Portable Crib. Once folded, the mattress, mattress support and crib fit into a travel bag for transportation.

  Remove the mattress and the mattress support from the portable crib. Fold them, and set them aside.

  Push in the silver button on a side lock, and turn the side lock toward the arrow that points to "open." The side locks are on the rail's top. Push the side rail toward the crib's middle to fold it down

  Move to the other side of the crib. Push in the silver button on that side's side lock, and turn the side lock toward the arrow that points to "open." Push the side rail toward the crib's middle to fold it flat.
