Look for the Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association's seal of approval on the product specification, which certifies that the crib meets all safety standards. With full-size foldable cribs that carry a drop side, check that the locking fittings are secure, to prevent accidental injury to the child. If the crib has rolling wheels, ensure that the casters lock securely.
