How to Convert a Graco Ashleigh Bed

A Graco Ashleigh bed starts as a convertible crib for infants. As your infant turns into a toddler, you can convert the crib into a toddler bed. The process for converting is very simple, as it only requires you to remove the front panel of the crib. The back panel and side panels stay attached. This design makes converting the bed a project that will only take several minutes to complete.

Instructions

Pull the front panel to the upright and locked position by pulling in on the levers on the side and then by pulling up on the panel. Let go of the levers to lock it in place.

    • 2

Locate the two tabs pressed into the front panel-sliding rail on each side of the crib and pull them out with a pair of pliers. You can try to pull them out with your fingers, but they are relatively small and hard to grip. Pull straight out to avoid breaking the tabs.

Push in on the locking levers and lower the front panel down until the sliders mounted on the panel drop off the bottom of the sliding rail.

    • 4

Tilt the top of the front panel forward and remove it from the crib. This step completes the conversion from crib to toddler bed.
