How to Assemble a 2001 Dorel Crib

Dorel Industries Inc was founded in 1987, and has grown over time by purchasing other companies, such as Cosco and Safety 1st. Dorel offers many products for babies and children, one of them being cribs. The cribs offered by Dorel are made with quality materials; many are also able to convert to toddler beds, day beds and full size beds, allowing children to use the cribs for many years. Dorel cribs are also easy to assemble and include easy to follow instructions.

      Secure the front post and back post to the left side of the crib using the included bolts and an Allen wrench. Secure the front and back post to the right side of the crib, again with the included boltsand an Allen wrench. Insert two bolts on each top post and one bolt on each bottom post, totaling eight bolts on the top of the posts and four bolts on the bottom of the posts.

      Attach the front and back sides of the crib to the left and right sides of the crib. Place the bolts through the left and right sides, into to the front and back sides of the crib. Use one bolt on each top post and one bolt on each bottom bolt, totaling eight bolts. Tighten with an Allen wrench.

      Attach the mattress support to the crib on each corner. Choose one of the three height positions for the mattress. Use the highest one for newborns and lower as the baby becomes mobile. Place a bolt into the mattress support tab on each corner, and connect to the correct height adjustment hole in the correct corner of the crib. Verify the mattress support tab is above the mattress support, and not pointing down.
