Set Up the PeaPod Plus

  Place the PeaPod Plus sleeping bag on the ground. Remove the safety band from its perimeter, which then allows it to unfold -- popping into configuration automatically.

  Inflate the air mattress before inserting it into the PeaPod's floor. Use the pump that was included in the package. Remove the mattress valve cover, and insert the pump into the valve. Pull and push the pump handle toward and away from the mattress, until it is firmly inflated. Replace the mattress valve.

  Open the PeaPod Plus floor compartment by sliding the zipper to the left. Slide the inflated mattress into the compartment. Close the compartment by sliding the zipper to the right.

  Place the sleeping pad inside the PeaPod Plus. Some models have zipper panels on the sides of the devices. If desired, fold the panels down over the sides of the PeaPod Plus and fasten them to the bottom -- using the hook and eye clasps. These clasps are included in the package.

Fold the PeaPod Plus After Use

  Make sure your child is located a safe distance from PeaPod Plus before folding it. Remove everything from inside it such as toys and bottles. Remove the mattress from its compartment, and disconnect the air valve. Gently squeeze the air out and slide the mattress back into the compartment to store it. Secure the deflated mattress by sliding the zipper to the other end of the compartment.

  Grab the top frame of the PeaPod Plus on both sides. Bring those sides together, and then hold them together using one hand.

  Use your free hand to connect one side's bottom frame to the top frame.

  Switch hands, and bring the other side's bottom frame to the top frame. Continue holding the sides of the PeaPod Plus with that same hand.

  Place the PeaPod Plus on its side, in a vertical position. Place one hand on the PeaPod Plus' top frame. Fold the top section to the center. Continue folding the top section inward, toward the center, until the unit is fully compacted.

  Tightly grasp the entire frame, and wrap the safety band around it. Slide the wrapped frame into the storage bag.
