How to Assemble a Playhut Slumber Bed

For camping trips, sleepovers and afternoon naps, the Playhut slumber bed is a convenient sleep spot for small children. If you're familiar with the common picnic chairs that fold up into a carry bag, you'll feel right at home setting up the slumber bed. The Playhut slumber bed is like a little hammock with a small sleeping bag you can attach and detach from the frame, making a soft, temporary sleep surface for toddlers and small children.

  Open the drawstrings at the end of the carry bag. Slide the Playhut slumber bed out of the bag.

  Pull the two ends of the bed away from each other. The legs will open like a pair of scissors, accordion style.

  Look on the bottom to find the four loose poles. These are attached at one end. Slip the other end of each pole into its matching plastic foot to completely stretch out the base of the slumber bed.

  Shake out the sleeping bag top of the slumber bed. Spread the bag on top of the bottom half of the bed. Tuck the elastic edges of the bottom of the sleeping bag underneath the edges of the cot. This will hold the sleeping bag in place. Unzip the zipper and allow your child to climb inside.
