Remove the backing from the frame, and then remove the picture inside the frame. Also remove the plastic or glass and set it aside in a safe location.
Completely cover the cardboard backing of the frame with white spray paint to create the white finish for the dry erase white board.
Allow to dry for several minutes and repeat with a second and third coat of spray paint, if needed.
Spray paint the picture frame with a color that coordinates with your home.
Allow to dry and repeat with a second coat.
Allow the frame and backing to dry for several hours until they are dry to the touch. They should not feel sticky at all.
Thoroughly clean both sides of the glass or plastic part of the picture frame using glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth.
Re-assemble the picture frame, minus the picture, ensuring that the white backing is placed facing the front. The picture frame should now look like a dry erase white board.
