Measure a 3/4-inch piece of plywood to 17 inches by 30 inches with the tape measure. Make a cut mark with the pencil and cut the plywood to this measurement using the table saw. Repeat this step on a second piece of plywood.
Measure a third piece of 3/4-inch plywood to 17 inches by 22 ½ inches. Make a cut mark with the pencil and then cut the plywood to this measurement. Repeat this step on a fourth piece of plywood.
Place the four pieces of plywood together in the shape of a rectangle. The 17-inch by 30-inch plywood pieces will be the sides. Drill pilot holes 3 inches apart on each side.
Apply wood glue to the edges of the 17-inch by 22 ½-inch pieces of plywood. Secure the pieces using screws with the power drill.
Measure and cut two strips of plywood to 4 inches by 22 inches to use as stabilizers. Apply wood glue to three sides of the plywood. Set the strips of plywood on the edges of the 22 ½-inch sections. Secure the plywood with finish nails using the nail gun.
Dill a 2 ½ inch hole near the center of the top section using a hole saw attachment with the power drill.
Turn the cart upside down and attach casters to the bottom using screws with the power drill. Place the casters 1 to 2 inches from each corner.
