Lateral File Locking System Instructions

A lateral file is a set of file drawers that also function as a desk or low cabinet. They tend to be about three feet tall with wide drawers, as opposed to file cabinets that are around five-feet tall with narrow drawers. Many lateral file systems have a lock to keep the contents secure. If you don't feel the lock with that came with your file is secure enough, you can replace it with a new lock.
