How to Take the Drawers Out of a Winner's File Cabinet

These filing cabinets utilize sliding rails and rollers to open and close the cabinet drawers. Taking the cabinet drawers out of a Winners Only filing cabinet is a simple and straightforward procedure.

  Clear off the top of your Winners Only file cabinet to prevent items from accidentally falling into the drawer as you remove it.

  Empty the file cabinet drawer itself and place the items inside off to the side. This will make the file cabinet drawer lighter and easier to take out of the recess.

  Pull the Winners Only file cabinet drawer out as far as it will go. Look for a tab on either side that acts as a "stop" that prevents the rollers affixed to the sides of the drawer from rolling off the guides or rails.

  Push down both tabs simultaneously with your thumbs while pulling the drawer up and off the rails or guides, and completely away from the cabinet itself.

  Set the file cabinet drawer aside and take out the others, if so desired, following Steps 2 through 4.
