Some products can build up over time on your wood furniture and cause it to appear dull or cloudy looking. Using the correct cleaning products and methods will ensure the beauty of the wood shows through.

  1. Weekly Cleaning

      Remove any items from the top of your wood furniture piece before dusting.

      Dust the entire surface weekly using a soft, lint-free cleaning cloth or a dusting tool. Make sure you efficiently clean any crevices.

      Polish the wood furniture surface once a week after dusting. Use a lint-free cloth, such as an old diaper or cotton T-shirt, and pour a small amount of polish on it. Use a commercial furniture polish or one that is homemade.

    Restoring Old Wood
