Mid-century design is a hot trend in home decor. The brightly colored dinette sets from the era are sought after for their vintage charm. Chromcraft was a well known and popular maker of the sets. It is relatively easy to find Chromcraft dinette sets today but, due to their age, they often need some restoration. Chromcraft's bright patterns are solid plastic, not laminate, and the legs are usually chrome. The solid plastic top does not chip or crack like the laminate tops on most vintage dinette sets. This makes it relatively easy to restore a Chromcraft table to good condition.
