Do-It-Yourself Bug Off Instant Screen Door

The Bug Off Instant Screen Door is a helpful device that allows you to enjoy the day’s nice weather while keeping all manner of annoying insects out of your home. Am instant screen door covers an open door with standard screen door mesh, but it has a magnetic flap along its center so that people and pets may freely walk in and out without letting flies, mosquitoes, wasps and other flying bugs inside. After you set the Bug Off screen door up the first time, reinstalling it takes only minutes.

Instructions

      Open the door to its widest position so that it will not be in the way of the instant screen door’s tension rod.

      Unscrew the tension rod by twisting it counter clockwise so that the rod extends 2 inches wider than the door frame.

      Position one end of the rod in a corner of the doorjamb and slip the other end into the opposite upper corner. You may have to push on the tension rod so it fits securely into the top of the door frame.

      Stick the included adhesive strips to the frame of your door along the screen to seal off the instant screen door from the outside. Connect the simple hook and loop fasteners along the mesh screen’s sides to close off the sides.

      Pull the mesh along the tension rod so that the opening is aligned with the center of the doorway.
