Lay out all the pieces of the furniture in the room where the desk will be. Separate the pieces and assemble your tools in one location.
Install shelves. Stand the uprights so they are side by side. Measure up 28 inches from the bottom. Insert the desk shelf pins into the pre-drilled holes in the uprights. Set the extended desk shelf onto the pegs. Notice the punch marks on the underside of the shelf. These marks line up with the shelf pegs, helping to ensure stability. If you have shelving to install above the desk surface, do it in the same manner.
Open the white cross brace and spread the legs radiating from the center ring. Place the brace on the back of the uprights and shelves, lining up the holes in the ends of the rods with holes in the uprights. Make sure the brace is the same distance from the top and bottom edges of the uprights. Screw them into place with the included screws.
Set the desk into place and place the level on the desk. You want it to be level from front to back so it is stable. If the desk is not level, slide an edge under the appropriate upright until it is. Snap off any excess wedge at the perforation when the desk is level.
