Instructions

    • 1

Place the mounting bracket on the wall where you want the lamp to hang.

    • 2

Lightly outline the bracket with your pencil, marking the position on the wall.

    • 3

Remove the bracket. Measure the location of screw holes using your measuring tape. If you have keyhole-shaped screw holes in your bracket, measure to the narrow end.

    • 4

Use the measuring tape and pencil to mark the corresponding locations on your wall.

    • 5

Drill a pilot hole in your wall at each screw hole location using a 1/8-inch drill bit.

    • 6

Drive a drywall anchor into each pilot hole with your hammer.

    • 7

Screw a screw into each drywall anchor using the hand screwdriver. Leave 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch of screw protruding from the wall.

    • 8

Erase the pencil marks from your wall.

    • 9

Fit the mounting bracket onto the screws. If your model has the screw heads exposed after mounting, tighten the screws down by hand. If not, the base should be thick enough to remain stable.
