Cut the plywood sheet in half on the diagonal. If you're inexperienced at cutting straight lines, you can have the lumber yard or home improvement center do this when you buy the lumber.
Sand all faces and edges of the plywood. You can also sand the posts if you like, but they won't have much contact with anything.
Mount one of the 30-inch posts at the right angle of your desk. Position it 1 1/2 inches from either edge, and set it at a 45-degree angle to the angle of the plywood. Screw two wood screws down through the plywood and into the end of the post.
Mount the other 30-inch posts in the other two corners, and set them 1 1/2 inches from the vertex. Position the posts so their edges run parallel to the edges of the post in the far corner.
Set one of the 33-inch posts in place so it connects to two 30-inch posts along one of the 36-inch sides of the plywood. Position the 33-inch post halfway between the plywood and the ends of the posts. Screw it in place with one 4-inch wood screw per connection, driving the screws through the 30-inch post and into the end of the 33-inch post.
Repeat step 5 for the other side.
Use your auger bit to drill a 1 1/2 inch hole in the back corner of the desk, 4 inches from the corner. Use this hole for cords when you install the computer.
