Adjusting the Angle of a Herman Miller Desktop

Herman Miller is a U.S. maker of mostly modern-style furniture and office equipment. Many of the company's products, such as the Action Office II (cubicle), have received international acclaim in the industrial design community. The Herman Miller desktop allows you to adjust the angle of the desk's surface quite easily for more comfortable work. It takes only minutes to change the height, which can be adjusted between 24 and 33 inches from the front to the back.

Instructions

    • 1

      Remove objects from the desktop.

    • 2

Locate the two front legs of the desk. Each leg is divided into two sections: desktop-to-middle and middle-to-floor.

    • 3

Grip the desktop-to-middle section of one leg.

    • 4

Twist counterclockwise. This will loosen the leg so it can be adjusted.

    • 5

Repeat Steps 3 and 4 with the other front leg. The front of the desk is now adjustable.

    • 6

Adjust the angle of the desk by raising or lowering the front. Once the desktop angle is in the position you want, twist the two legs clockwise to lock the angle in place.
