How to Install the Feet on an American Furniture Sofa

There are several companies that utilize the words "American furniture" in their official company name, including American Furniture Warehouse and American Furniture Alliance. While the companies have slightly different names, their basic products remain very similar since they all provide furniture models such as couches and chairs. The feet of the furniture often needs to be attached separately so it ships more efficiently and isn't damaged in the process. Attaching the feet to an American Furniture sofa is a simple process.

     Elevate a corner of the sofa so you have access to the hole into which the leg or foot fits.

     Insert the foot into the hole and twist it clockwise to screw it into the opening. Follow any included instructions in case the feet have specific corners to which they are meant to attach.

     Repeat the twisting procedure for each foot in each of the four corners of the sofa. Set the sofa where you want it once the feet are installed.
