Instructions

    • 1

Flip cushions once a week. If you have a family member who leans on the back of the sofa, then flipping cushions is vital. Turn the cushions over and plump them up once a week. This will distribute the weight more evenly.

    • 2

Rotate the cushions monthly. At the beginning of each month, move each cushion down one section on the sofa. This will prevent one cushion from taking the same type of pressure all of the time and prolong the life of your sofa.

    • 3

Wrap the cushions. If sagging has already become a problem, stop it in its tracks. Wrap all of your cushions in several layers of polyester batting.

    • 4

Cover your cushions and the batting with new cushion covers. If the sagging is severe, add an additional roll of batting on the side with the dent, then make that side, previously the top, the bottom of the cushion.
