Move each section of the sofa to where you think it looks and fits best. The inside sections of the sofa are easiest to move and can be rearranged as you see fit. The outside pieces are designed to remain in their position, as they are usually the heaviest.
Push all the sections together as close as possible until there are no gaps. This will make them easier to connect and give the appearance of an individual sofa, instead of separate pieces.
Locate the female and male couplers on each section of the sofa. Slide the male end into the female end to secure the pieces. Lift up the male end slightly in order to slide into the female side correctly. Then slide the male end downward to make it fit correctly into the female end.
Align the couplers on each portion of the sofa sectional.
Verify that each section is connected securely by shaking them slightly. If they act as one unit and don't separate, you have connected them correctly.
