Instructions

    • 1

Wet a rag using clean warm water with no soap. Wring the excess water from the rag.

    • 2

Wipe off the entire leather couch surface with the damp rag. Keep the rag clean by rinsing it out in the bucket of warm water. If necessary, empty the bucket, fill it with fresh warm water and use a clean towel. You want to remove the smoke tar, not just move it around.

    • 3

Wipe the leather couch dry with a clean lint-free towel. If the towel has a brown or black oily substance on it after wiping the couch dry, repeat Step 2 until you can wipe the leather off with the dry towel and the towel remains clean.

    • 4

Create a lather of saddle soap in a damp rag and clean the entire surface of the leather couch with the soapy rag. When necessary, rinse the rag in clean warm water and reapply the saddle soap lather to the couch.

    • 5

Wipe the saddle soap lather off the leather couch with a clean dry towel.

    • 6

Allow the leather couch a few hours to completely dry and then buff the couch surface with a clean towel.
