How to Dismantle a Futon

A futon is a simple piece of furniture that functions as both a couch and a bed. Futons are popular because they can be disassembled for convenient transportation and reassembled rather quickly upon delivery. While futon frames can be disassembled quickly, most futon frames are built with large awkward parts that are difficult to handle by yourself. If at all possible, take apart the futon frame with a friend.
