If your sectional sofa is looking a bit worn, clean it off. Use a cloth, cleaning spray and brush to spot clean any food stains or spills that might be lurking. If possible, unzip your couch covers and toss them in the washing machine. Instruct your family and friends (and yourself) that there is no more eating on the couch.
If spot cleaning the stains don't do the trick, or you can't remove the couch covers and throw them in the wash, flip all your cushions to the other side. Hopefully the other sides will be cleaner and brighter because they haven't endured daily wear and tear.
Covering your sectional sofa is another option for quick rejuvenation. You can throw a blanket or a large piece of fabric over the back of the couch that matches your room decor; you can also purchase a couch cover that fits over the entire sofa. If it's in your budget, have the whole sofa reupholstered. Use the opportunity to choose different colors and patterns than the original sofa; allow this change to extend into your home, and redecorate your entire sitting room to complement the look of your new couch.
Getting your couch cushions restuffed can also rejuvenate your sectional sofa. Couches that accommodate lots of family and friends can appear to sag and look uneven. They might even feel lumpy to sit on, as the batting inside is clumped in some places and flattened in others. After your cushions are restuffed, fluff them once a day to keep the stuffing evenly distributed.
Add new pillows to your sectional sofa to give it a new look. If your budget allows, buy different sets of pillows with various textures, colors and patterns, and switch them out depending on your mood and room decor.
