How to Decorate Around a Black Sectional

Position the black sectional sofa opposite of the focal point in the room. This may be a TV and media center, a fireplace, a breathtaking view or even a piano. Don't feel that the sectional must hug the wall. If the room is quite large, moving it out a few feet from the wall area allows for a walkway behind the sectional. Cavernous rooms benefit from placement even further away from the wall to create an intimate conservation area.

Pick accessories in one, two or even three accent colors. Almost every color complements black, therefore you have a wide variety to choose from depending on your personality, tastes and the ambiance you are creating.
