Turn the chair upside down.
Remove the screws holding the seat, arms and back rest to the chair's base using an Allen wrench.
Remove the bolt connecting the cylinder to the seat support.
Locate the level bar in the pneumatic cylinder box that controls the height of the chair to determine the reason that the cylinder is not holding at a specific level.
Extend the lever's grip into the locking mechanism with a small piece of plastic taped to the level with duck tape.
Remove the screw that adjusts the height.
Apply several layers of glue around the screw that adjusts the height. Let the glue dry between each layer.
Screw the screw that adjusts the height back into the cylinder.
Reassemble the chair's seat, back and arms.
Test the chair's pneumatic cylinder.
