How to Repair a Steelcase Pneumatic Cylinder

Often the first thing to go on an office chair is the chair's pneumatic system or the system that adjusts the chair's height. Steelcase chairs are durably made, but occasionally the Steelcase chair's pneumatic system will also begin to misbehave. Repairing the Steelcase chair's pneumatic cylinder will fix the chair's height adjustment problems. The chair's pneumatic cylinder has probably lost its ability to stay at a specific height. You will need to disassemble a few of the parts and then reassemble them. Doing so can save you the expense of having to buy a new chair.
