Look for the locations of the slide or lever-style locks and supports for your specific model of foldable swivel chair. For example, like a traditional folding non-swivel beach chair, the chair back support may come from the legs and/or from folding metal supports attached to the sides of the chair back and seat that lock into the straight support position when you unfold the chair.
Release the locks or supports that support the chair back in the open position. For example, unlock the back legs from the swivel base or push the chair arms forward or back as far as possible. If your chair has a lock release under the seat, push or pull the release button or lever.
Push the chair back forward or pull up on it and then push it forward to fold against the seat when finished.
Lift up the folded chair and pull the swivel base toward it; or press the folded chair down to collapse against the base.
