How to Find the Owner's Manual for an Old Jazzy Power Chair

Pride Mobility began making Jazzy Powerchairs in 1996. The company provides downloadable files of owners' manuals for the chairs on its website. The oldest model listed on the site is the Jazzy 1120-2000; its manual was issued in July, 2002.

Instructions

    • 1

Navigate to the Jazzy page on the Pride Mobility website (pridemobility.com/jazzy).

    • 2

Scroll to the bottom of the page and locate "Downloads."

    • 3

Click on "Owners' Manuals" under "Downloads."

    • 4

Find your chair's model number in the first section, "Jazzy Powerchairs." Some Spanish-language manuals for Jazzy powerchairs are in the last section at the bottom of the page.

    • 5

Click on the model number, which is printed in blue.

    • 6

Click on "Open" when the File Download box appears if you want to read the manual online without saving it to your computer.

    • 7

Click on "Save" when the File Download box appears if you want to save the manual to your computer.

    • 8

Select a location to save the file on your computer when the "Save As" box appears. Click on the arrow beside the "Save In" bar and choose the location from those listed in the drop-down menu. For example, select "My Documents" from the drop-down menu. The file name, which is the Jazzy model name and number you clicked on, appears in another bar at the bottom of the box.

    • 9

Click "Save" to save the manual to your computer. The "Save As Type" bar shows Adobe Acrobat Document because the owner's manual was created as a PDF file.

    • 10

Click on the "Start" button on your screen; then select "My Documents."

    • 11

Scroll through the PDF files to locate your Jazzy owner's manual.
