How To Convert a Wingback Chair into a Dining Chair

  Apply a stain repellant to any wingback chair with fabric upholstery. Ensure the stain repellant is applied to the entire chair. The stain repellant helps protect the fabric in case a food or beverage is dropped onto it.

  Rub leather sealant all over any leather wingback chair you want to use at the dining table. While leather is more resilient than fabric, you still need to ensure it is protected at all times.

  Lay the chair on its back so you can access the bottom of the legs. Apply a small piece of sticky-backed felt to the bottom of the chair legs. The felt enables your chair to move without scratching your floors.
