What Is a Flex-A-Bed?

Based in Layfayette, Georgia, Flex-A-Bed manufactures three types of adjustable motorized beds, the Value-Flex, the High-Low and the Premier. You can customize the size and mattress type of your Flex-A-bed model. Premier Flex-A-Beds come with a limited lifetime warranty. Hi-Low and Value-Flex models both have five-year limited warranties. Flex-A-Bed warranties cover repairs needed to any part of the bed, including the motor.
  1. Sizes

    • You can purchase twin, queen, full, dual queen and dual king-size Value-Flex Flex-A-Beds. The standard height of a Value-Flex Flex-A-Bed is 23 inches. High-Low Flex-A-Bed models come in twin, full, queen and dual king sizes. The High-Low Flex-A-Bed measures 26 inches high with a maximum height of 33 inches when you use the controls to raise the frame. You can choose from twin, queen, full, dual queen, dual king, king and California king size Premier Flex-A-Beds. Standard Premier models measure 23 inches in height. King-size lengths range from 74 to 84 inches on all Flex-A-Bed models. By removing the frame casters, you can lower the height of your Flex-A-Bed.

    Mattress Types

    • Value-Flex Flex-A-Beds feature innerspring mattresses with three firmness choices. Hi-Low and Premier Flex-A-Bed mattress choices include lower height, memory foam, latex and innerspring with memory foam mattresses. Premier mattresses have non-skid liners on the bottom, suede lining along the outer borders, quilted tops and feature polyester fiber designed to resist damage caused by fire.

    Features

    • Value-Flex models feature wired controls and Linatak motors. High-Low and Premier Flex-A-Beds feature wired or wireless remote controls, Linatak motors with massage vibration capability and bottom retainer covers. You can purchase Premier Flex-A-Beds with either a 4- or 8-inch foundation profile. Value-Flex and High-Low models feature standard 4-inch foundation profiles. All Flex-A-Bed models have locking casters to prevent the frame from shifting. You can attach Value-Flex and Premier models to a headboard.

    Accessories

    • You can purchase accessories for your Flex-A-Bed, such as side rails, reinforced mattress frames with six support legs, hinged brackets and polyester-cotton blend fitted sheets. You can also increase the height of your Flex-A-Bed by buying frame leg extensions that increase the height of your bed up to 30 inches off the floor.
