If you have a bad back or bad hips, you likely toss and turn at night, trying to find just the right position to accommodate your body aches. Sleeping on the right kind of bed for your body can allow you greater comfort during sleeping hours, helping you to wake refreshed and pain free. While no one bed type will work for everyone with the same bodily aches, some general guidelines can help you choose a bed that's right for you.
  1. Lower Back Pain

    • If you suffer from lower back pain, a mattress that provides ample support could help you sleep better, according to the Spine-Health website. That's because a mattress that's too soft can reinforce poor posture during sleep, resulting in pain when you wake up. Having adequate back support can also help you avoid muscle pains in your lower back. Typically, a medium to firm mattress is preferable if your problem is lower back pain.

    Entire Back Pain
