Instructions for the Control Adjusta-Magic Signature Series

While adjustable beds have long been used in hospital settings, they have become a popular addition to home bedrooms. The Adjusta-Magic Signature Series, which includes model numbers E-91SS and E-95SS, is manufactured by Leggett and Platt. Each unit allows the head and foot position of the mattress to be raised or lowered using a wireless remote control system. The series also offers a massage feature that can be activated with the remote, with the E-91SS model limiting massage to the head only and the E-95SS offering massage to both the head and feet, as well as a rolling massage feature.

Instructions

  1. Model E-91SS

      Adjust head elevation by pressing the "Up" or "Down" arrows on the "Head" rocker switch to raise or lower the mattress. Adjust foot elevation by pressing the "Up" or "Down" arrows on the "Foot" rocker switch to raise or lower the foot of the bed. To place the bed back into a flat position, press the "Flat" button.

      Turn the massage function on, pressing the "On/Off" massage button at the bottom of the remote. This will start a 30 minute massage session. Press the "Up" or "Down" arrows of the massage "Head" selection to adjust the level of head massage action. To turn the massage function off, press the "On/Off" button again.

      Press the light "On/Off" button to turn the keypad illumination function on or off.

    Model E-95SS

      Adjust head elevation, pressing the "Up" or "Down" arrow on the "Head" rocker switch to raise or lower the mattress. Adjust foot elevation by pressing the "Up" or "Down" arrows on the "Foot" rocker switch to raise or lower the foot of the bed. To place the bed back into a flat position, press the "Flat" button at the top of remote.

      Turn the head massage function on by pressing the "On/Off" head massage button. This will start a 30 minute massage session. Press the "Up" or "Down" arrows of the massage "Head" button to adjust the level of head massage action. Turn the foot massage function on, pressing the "On/Off" foot massage button. Press the "Up" or "Down" arrows on the massage "Foot" button to adjust the level of foot massage. To extend the massage session to 60 minutes, press the "60 Min" button once both the head and foot massagers have been activated. To turn the massage function off, press the "On/Off" button.

      Press the wave "On/Off" button once the massage function has been initiated to activate the wave massage feature. Use the "Up" or "Down" arrow buttons to increase or decrease the speed of the wave. To turn the feature off, press the wave "On/Off" button again.

      Press the light "On/Off" button to turn the keypad illumination function on or off.
