Position a hinge against the bed frame in the upper left corner of the top rail. Position it so the side of the hinge that would normally mount against the doorframe rests against the bed frame. Mark each mounting hole in the hinge on the bed frame. Repeat this process with the second hinge at the opposite upper corner of the bed.
Drill holes at each marked location with a drill bit that matches the diameter of the holes in the hinges.
Secure the hinges to the bed frame with the screws that came with the hinge.
Place the bed and the hinges against the wall and mark out each hole in the hinges onto the wall. Move the bed out of the way.
Drill holes large enough for toggle bolts. The toggle on the bolt denotes the proper drill size needed. Slide the bolts through the hinge and then thread the toggles onto the bolts.
Slide the toggles into the holes in the wall and then tighten the bolts.
Drill a pilot hole into the foot of the bed that measures half the diameter of the threaded anchors on your eyebolt latch. Thread the eyebolt latch into the holes. Do this at each side on the foot-end of your bed.
Lift the bed up against the wall and then mark out the location for the eyebolts on the wall. Do this by placing the eyelatch outward against the wall and the nmark the tip of the eyelatch onto the wall.
Drill holes large enough for wall anchors and then press the anchors into the holes. Thread the eyebolts into the holes. Place the eyelatches into the eyebolts to hold the bed in an upright position. Remove the eyelatches from the eyebolts to lower the bed back to the floor.
