How to Install Buttons on an Upholstered Headboard

Whether you planned on adding buttons to your newly upholstered headboard or the facade seemed too plain once you finished the project, two-sided upholstery buttons offer versatility. The back of the button includes a tack that can be hammered through the fabric and padding and into the wooden headboard base. The underside of the button tops have metal gripping claws, allowing you to cover the button with coordinating fabric before popping the top onto the button back.
