Measure the length and width of the mattress. Since the mattress set is identical in size and shape, only the top mattress needs to be measured. Use a tape measure to measure the length and width of the mattress; write these numbers down.
Purchase a grip pad. These can be found at furniture stores, bed and bedding retailers, and department stores. Use the measurements to determine which size pad to purchase. The size of the pad can be a few inches smaller than the size of the mattress, as it will still hold the set in place once installed. The size of the pad can also be slightly larger than the mattress, as it can be trimmed before installing. Ideally, if you can't find a specific size, purchase a pad slightly larger than the size of the mattress. Once purchased, you can measure and cut the pad to size, using a utility knife or a pair of scissors, depending on the thickness of the pad.
Remove the top mattress from the set and place the pad on top of the bottom mattress. If the pad is slightly smaller than the mattress, place it in the center so the free space is even all around the sides. Once the pad is in place evenly on the mattress, place the top mattress on the bottom mattress.
