How to Elevate a Mates Bed

Mates beds, also known as captains beds, are good solutions if you are trying to save space. They are designed with underneath storage drawers, making it perfect for kids rooms, dorms or apartments. Although mates beds offer extra storage space, they are very low. This can be a problem for some people when they are getting in and out the bed. Fortunately, there is a solution that you can use to elevate your mates bed to the ideal height.

Instructions

      Lift one end of your mates bed so that it is higher than the bed-frame riser.

      Slide the bed-frame riser on the one edge of the bed until it snaps in place.

      Release the bed slowly to the floor.

      Lift and slide the other three bed-frame risers on the other three edges of the bed individually.

      Lower the bed so that it is flat on the floor. Apply pressure to the bed to make sure that the bed-frame risers are securely in place.
