How to Join Twin Beds

Maybe you have a guest room that you'd like to use for couples. Perhaps you're trying to stretch your budget and use two twin mattresses in your own room. Whatever the reason, you should know that it is easy to make a larger bed out of two smaller ones.

King-size mattress pad
King-size sheets
King-size comforter

Instructions

  Remove bedding from the two twin beds.

  Position the two beds so that the long sides are parallel.
- 3
  Slip a connector (such as one made by Create-A-King) between the mattresses, and push the mattress into each side of the connector.

  Position the elastic bands around the outside portions of the mattresses.
- 5
  Place a king-size mattress pad on the bed.
- 6
  Make the bed with king-size sheets and a king-size comforter.
