How to Add Leveling Feet to Furniture

Leveling feet are added to the legs of furniture to make the furniture horizontal to the ground. They are different from general furniture feet, as levelers allow you to adjust the length of the furniture leg while general furniture feet are not adjustable. Typical leveling feet consist of a base, stem, and nut or bracket. The base and stem are rigid. The nut or bracket is turned around the stem to adjust the height of the furniture legs. Adding leveling feet when needed will significantly increase your enjoyment of the furniture.
