How to Soften Sharp Corners on Cabinets

An important part of childproofing a home is removing as many pointy objects from the path of children as possible. Sharp corners, especially on cabinets at ground level, can be a hazard to small children who walk or crawl into them inadvertently. By using corner cushions on sharp cabinet corners, you can limit the chance of serious injury to your child if he or she should happen to fall onto--or run into--them.

Instructions

    • 1

Line a corner cushion up with the corner of the cabinet so their points face the same direction.

    • 2

Press the corner cushion onto the cabinet corner firmly to help the adhesive stick to the cabinet's surface.

    • 3

Repeat until all exposed cabinet corners are covered by a cushion.
