Crib Tent Instructions

The crib tent sits on top of the crib and prevents active infants from climbing out of the enclosed area. The tent has ample headroom and uses a mesh screen to keep the area enclosed. The screen allows air to flow through the crib and has little effect on the light. The enclosed tent does have a zippered door that is opened from the outside. The large door allows the parent to access the child without removing the entire tent.

Instructions

    • 1

Assemble the two tent poles by connecting the male and female ends. Firmly push the ends together to ensure that the poles have a snug fit. Each pole is constructed of three segments.

    • 2

Locate the button straps on the bottom corner of the tent. Release the straps from the buttons to expose an opening in the pole sleeves. Insert one pole in each sleeve and flex the pole while securing the strap to the button. This will form the main body of the tent.

    • 3

Remove the mattress from the crib. Set the tent on the top of the crib with the door facing the desired access side. Move the zipper to open the access door.

    • 4

Locate the straps that are connected to the corners of the tent. The straps also have the bottom of the sleeve that holds the ends of the tent poles. Wrap the straps around the side of the crib and connect the straps by attaching the hooks to the loops.

    • 5

Attach the hooks located along the base of the tent to the top rail of the crib. Pull the cinch straps to tighten the straps and eliminate any gaps between the tent and the top rail. The straps also prevent the child from climbing through the loose base fabric.
