Directions for the Tots in Mind Crib Tent

The Tots in Mind Crib Tent is designed to prevent active and curious toddlers from climbing over the crib railing. The crib tent uses very few parts, and it is relatively easy to assemble. It is important that the tent is properly secured to the crib in for it to be safe and effective. The zippered door also must be closed completely to prevent the child from falling out of the crib.

Instructions

    • 1

Assemble the two main tent poles by fitting the metal connections on each section. Each pole has three sections that must be manually pushed together. Assemble the two beige side poles in the same fashion. The side poles use two sections to create one rigid pole.

Remove the straps from the buttons on the bottom corners of the tent. Slide the two main poles through the sleeves that start at the corners and cross at the top of the tent. Fasten the buttons to secure the poles, and flex the tent into shape.

Locate the two rod sleeves that hang horizontally on each long end of the tent. Unhook the button strap on each sleeve, and insert one beige rod into each sleeve. Replace the button to lock the rod in place.

Remove the mattress and bedding from the inside of the crib. Set the tent on the crib with the two side panels draped to the inside of the crib. Unzip the tent door to access the crib. Tie the panel fasteners to the bottom of the crib bed. Pull the Velcro side straps around the crib, and weave the straps through the bars before locking them onto each other.

Locate the hooks attached to the base of the tent. Attach the hooks to the top rail of the crib, and pull on the strap to tighten the hooks and secure the tent to the crib. Replace the mattress and bedding.
