Measure the gap between the corner and the last piece of drywall you installed. Transfer this measurement to a piece of drywall. Hold a level against the drywall's surface at the measurement mark.
Cut down the drywall, along the level, with a utility knife. Stand behind the score line and hit the drywall with the heel of your hand to break it. Cut through the drywall's paper backing with the utility knife.
Lift the drywall into place on the wall. Secure it in place by driving drywall screws through the drywall and into the wall studs. Place the screws approximately 6 inches apart and drive them slightly below the drywall's surface.
Measure the gap on the corner's other side, starting from the wall stud. Do not include the thickness of the drywall you installed in Step 3 with this measurement. Transfer this measurement to a piece of drywall and cut it the same way you cut the first piece.
Position the drywall on the wall. You will be left with a small gap at the corner, between the two sheets of drywall. The drywall sheets will not create a 90 degree corner. Drive drywall screws through the drywall and into the wall studs. The gap allows the bullnose cornerbead to fit properly on the corner.
