Get the dimensions of the area with the tape measure, and create a design that is within your ability and matches the house. Be sure to include the dimensions of the windows in your design, as it is very hard to resize kit windows. The design will depend greatly on the position of the existing porch and the look of the house.
Cut wood pieces to size using the table saw. Create vertical uprights and a triangle-shaped frame that will sit at the end furthest from the porch. Nail these pieces together. Reinforce the area around the windows, and nail pieces along where the roof will go. Nail plywood to the top to create the basic roof. Be sure to slope it so rain will run off. Nail plywood to the uprights to create the basic walls.
Install the window kits where needed, depending on your tastes and need for natural light. For example, if the shed is in a shady area, consider adding another window or two to let in more light.
Stuff insulation inside the walls. Finish the interior walls with drywall. Finish the roof of the porch with materials that match the rest of the house. Attach siding to the outside that matches as well. Plaster the interior walls, and paint to your liking.
